2008 UCDW ELECTION LETTER WRITING COMMITTEE

Get your Letters-to-the-Editor out NOW by the first weeks of October. Our Letter Writing Committee has put together a list of newspapers to send your letters to. Email us your letters to post here as samples or send additional newspapers to add to our list info to UCDW webmaster.

Letter Writing Tips:

  • Subject line should read: "To the Editor"
  • Short letters are more likely to be used than lengthy ones. Letters should be no more 175-200 words. Be aware that some papers have a maxium word length.
  • Stick to a point and be clear. Trying to cover too many points can diminish your message.
